Paestum
Paestum, located on the southern coast of Italy, is an incredible ancient Greek city that you absolutely shouldn’t miss. The ruins there are renowned for their stunning three Greek temples, built around 550 to 450 BC and remarkably well-preserved. As you explore the site, you’ll be amazed by the intact city walls, the amphitheatre, and the remnants of other structures and paved roads. You’ll also visit the modern national museum, where you can admire the artefacts unearthed from the nearby Greek site of Foce del Sele.
Pompeii
A city whose story is so notorious Bastille wrote a song about it. Wander through the remarkably preserved ruins and imagine life as it once was in 79 AD. The preserved buildings, intricate frescoes, and even the haunting casts of the volcano’s victims tell a powerful story. Strolling along the streets of Pompeii is like stepping into a time machine, transporting you to a bygone era. A must-visit.
Amalfi Coast
The Amalfi Coast is as picturesque as you could imagine. Crystal clear waters, pristine beaches, lush vineyards & lemon groves, pastel-coloured buildings, winding roads, fresh seafood, homemade pasta, the list is limitless. It would be wrong to visit this part of the world and not visit this jewel of the Mediterranean.
