Sports – Barbados

Barbados: Sports in the sun

Barbados is amazing for a school trip, though, especially for those more athletically minded. Cricket, netball, and rugby are universally loved here, and there’s also Caribbean sun and sea… that’s what dreams are made of.

Key Stage 3   GCSE   A-level

Play against some of Barbados’ best – netball, cricket, rubgy – all played here.

Spend a day cruising on a catamaran, take a dip in the crystal clear ocean and snorkel with the fish

Head to Oistin’s Fish Fry for seafood and music

Barbados: Sun, Sea, and Sports Galore

Barbados is a fantastic destination for school sports trips, offering stunning beaches, warm weather, and excellent sports facilities. Students can engage in various activities such as cricket, soccer, and water sports. The island’s rich culture, safety, and friendly locals make it an ideal choice for an unforgettable educational experience.

  • Hot weather – bring lotion.
  • More sports than you can shake a fist at.
  • Seafood & tropical fruit. Delish.

Sports

It’s hard to call it a sports trip if you don’t play any games…

Working with the Barbados Tourism Board, we will provide a full practice and match schedule while you are in Barbados. You’ll have the opportunity to play against local schools, take part in international tournaments, and more.

Catamaran Cruise

You’ll spend the day on a Catamaran, where you’ll have the chance to dip in the sea (cool), snorkel around a shipwreck (even cooler), and snorkel with turtles (ridiculously cool). You’ll also have lunch on the boat because eating on the sea is eating by the sea.

Sea... Horses

As the sun rises, horses are taken for an AM swim at Pebbles Beach every morning. You’ll get to hang out, say hello and swim with the fishes horses, and take as many selfies as you like. Maybe not if you’ve got Equinophobia.

Safari

It’s not just fishes in Barbados. They’ve got other animals, too.

We’ll take you around Barbados’ natural side, where you’ll see Tortoises, deer, and alligators and maybe feed some monkeys.

Harbour Lights dinner

Harbour Lights is a private beach by day, and entertainment by night. You’ll get to lounge during the day, then come evening you’ll be stuffed to the brim with delicious Caribbean food, treated to an epic show of music and dancing. So good you’ll forget to take snaps.

Rihanna monument

Did you know Rihanna is from Barbados? They’ve even named a street after her, AND given her a monument.

You’ll get to see the home she grew up in, as well as a view of residential Barbados.
